1. What is Form PAS 1 ?
Form PAS 1 contains the format of advertisement to be given when a company wants to give notice of special resolution for varying the terms of any contract referred to in the prospectus or altering the objects for which the prospectus was issued. This form is issued in pursuant to section 27(1) and rule 7(2) of Companies (Prospectus and Allotment of Securities) Rules, 2014. The advertisement shall be given in vernacular language newspapers having wide circulation in the district and in english language newspapers having wide circulation in the state in which the registered office of the company is situated.
2. Why is it Important ?
This form helps in intimating the general public , government authorities or debenture holders or creditors of the company regarding the special resolution for varying the terms of any contract referred to in the prospectus or altering the objects for which the prospectus was issued.
