1. What is a Pre-Joining placement agreement?
Pre Joining placement agreement is an offer made to an individual to join the company in the capacity of the employee. This agreement is usually entered while the proposed individual is still to complete their degrees. This type of agreement defines the roles and responsibilities of the employees in the company post joining, what they are expected to do, salary, and also prescribes preconditions, upon the happening or not happening of which may lead to lapse of the offer. Pre joining agreement is not the final employment agreement, however, it forms the basis of the agreement.
