1. What is Form MDC 1?
This form is related to the application for the empanelment of the Mediator or Conciliator as per Rule 3 (3) of the Companies( Mediation & conciliation Rule ) 2016. The MCA has empowered the Regional Director to prepare an expert panel of mediator or Conciliator in their region as per section 442 of the Companies Act. The expert who wants them to be empanelled shall qualify certain eligibility criteria such as has been a supreme judge of the supreme court, Judge of the high court, District or session judge etc.
2. Why is it Important?
It is important for those who want to offer their services as the mediator or conciliator and can take up the assignment and shall abide by the rules of the mediation & conciliation Rules 2016. This Application should be addressed to the Regional Director of the Region.
