What is a Leave and License Agreement?
The agreement of leave and license permits the licensor (owner) to transfer his licensed premises to the licensee to use it for residential or commercial purposes in return for a fixed amount paid monthly or yearly by the license.
Why is it important?
1. This agreement restricts the licensee to hold any right in the licensed premises and also restricts to sublet the licensed premises to any other person.
2. It preserves the interest of both parties of the agreement.
3. This agreement can be easily terminated, and in case of any disagreement between the parties, the dispute resolution clause provides speedy decisions.
