1. What is Form INC - 27?
Form INC- 27 is related to the conversion of a private limited company into a public company or vice versa pursuant to section 14 of the Companies Act 2013 and Rule 33 of the Companies Incorporation Rules 2014. Whenever an existing company wants to change its status, they are required to fill this e-form for the purpose of conversion, a private company required to file an intimation of its conversions and it should be filed within 15 days after passing the resolution.
2. Why is it Important?
It is one of the essential forms to be filled while seeking the conversion of the company. On successful submission of this e-form, SRN & challan will be generated along with a description of the amount to be paid to the ministry. It shall also require significant alteration in MOA, AOA and the approval will be given by the central government in such case.
