1. What is Form INC - 26?
INC 26 contains the format of the advertisement which shall be published by the company intending to shift its registered office from one place to another. The notice in form INC 26 shall be published in vernacular language newspapers having wide circulation in the district as well as in English language newspapers having circulation in the state in which the office is located so as to intimate the general public as well as attract any objection regarding the same.
2. Why is it Important?
This form helps in attracting any objection from the general public, government authorities or debenture holders or creditors of the company regarding the shifting of the address of the registered office of the company from one state to another.
