1. What is Form IEPF- 1A?

This form is related to statements of the amount credited to Investor Education and Protection Fund pursuant to Rule 5 (4)(A) of the Investor Education and Provident Fund Authority Rule 2016, Companies that have transferred any amount to IEPF but have not filled the statement in any format this form is for that purpose. Due to the absence of relevant information and amount to be refunded to the concerned person was not verifiable. This form allows the companies to upload the forms whether made through INV-1, Form-1 or challan.

2. Why is it Important?

It is important to fill this form if you are looking for a refund from the Investor Education Provident Fund and the time limit as per rule 5(4A) is 60 days from the date of notification of the amended rule. There are no fees for this e-form as the date is being collected for the general convenience of the companies and the investors.
