GST registration procedure:

GST registration procedure usually takes seven days. Below are the steps of obtaining a GST certificate and GSTIN:

  1. Fill in the necessary business details and information to the GST registration portal.

  2. Upload the required documents.

  3. After successfully uploading all the documents, you will get the ARN number immediately. 

  4. GST registration certificate and the GSTIN no will be issued once the GST officer approves the docs. 

  5. The government does not provide a physical certificate. So all you need to do is to download the certificate from the GST portal.

Documents required for GST registration for startups:

In case of proprietorship:

  1. PAN card of the business or the applicant.

  2. Adhar card of the applicant.

  3. Address proof such as Electricity Bill/Mobile Bill/Telephone Bill etc.

  4. Email I’d along with the phone number of the applicant.

In case of LLP:

  1. LLP agreement.

  2. Pan card of LPP.

  3. ID proof of Partners.

  4. Address proof of partners.

  5. DSC of the authorized signatory.

In case of Private Limited Company: 

  1. Certificate of incorporation.

  2. Digital signature.

  3. PAN Card of the company.

  4. Address proof along with the ID of the directors.

  5. Resolution signed by the members.

ISO certification for startups: 

There were a lot of startups in 2019 that existed than any other year before it. Data released by startups.co.uk shows that there were almost 682000 startups to date that are approximately 3% higher than the previous years.  So, if a person wishes to go with a startup can start his entrepreneur journey just by startup registration. Apart from Trademark registration, Patent registration, domain registration, a startup also required ISO certification. It includes an examination of the documents/records relating to the internal audits, management review and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions, etc. Recertification must be performed three months before the expiry period to ensure continuity of the certification. 

The reassessment program must ensure the following:

  1. Verification of OHS 

  2. Identification of Threat and Assessment Control

  3. Previous audit reports summary

  4. All the clauses or processes are renewed

  5. Verification of OHS management system at temporary sites

  6. Legal rules compliance, etc
