1. What is Form XII 74?
This form is related to Rule 74 of Contract Labour ( Regulation & Abolition )1971, Rules, this form includes details about the name of the contractor, address, nature of the contract, location of work, details about the employer, Tenure of work and details about the numbers of contractors employed under the project.
2. Why is it Important?
It is important for maintaining the records and statistics, every principal employer shall maintain in respect of each registered establishment a register of contractors in form XII. Under this Act, a contractor is a person who undertakes and supplies contract labour for any establishment it also includes the supply of goods to the establishment.
