1. What is Form SH-7 ?
Form SH-7 is termed as Notice to Registrar of any alteration of share capital in E-Format It falls under to section 64(1) of the Companies Act,2013 & Rule(15) of companies (Share Capital and Debentures) Rules 2014. Purpose of e-form is whenever a company alters its share capital/ number of members independently or increases the share capital by conversion of debentures/ loans due to order of the Central Government, then a return shall be altered or increased.
2. Why is Form SH-7 used ?
When a company alters its shares capital/ number of members independently or increases the share capital by conversion of debentures/ loans due to order of Central Government, a return shall be filed with the registrar within 30 days of such alteration or increase. The return shall also be filed where the company redeemable preference shares.
