1. What is Form SH-4 ?

Form SH-4 is termed as Securities Transfer Form. pursuant to section 56 of the Companies Act,2013 and sub-rule (1) of rule 11 of the Companies (Share Capital and Debentures) Rules. Free transferability of share is one essential condition for company form of business, subject to some restrictions under private companies.Value of share transfer stamps to be affixed on the transfer deed. Stamp duty for transfer of shares is 25 paise for every Rs. 100 or part therefore of the value of shares as per notification No.130(E).

2. Why is Form SH-4 used ?

The company shall notify the other members for the availability of shares. The share transfer deed in Form SH-4 duly executed by both the transferor and the transferee. SH-4 should be: {Information on: sh 4 form, sh-4, form sh-4}

● Dated

● Specifying the Name, Father name, address, occupation if any , of the Transferee

& Transferor

● Folio No. of both Transferee & Transferor

● Distinctive No. ,Certificate No. of Shares Transfer

● Executed by or on behalf of the transferor and the transferee
