1. What is Form II Rule 24 (1)?
This form is related to the register of fines of an employee working the establishment. As per rule 21 (4). The amount of fine or deduction for damage or loss mentioned in sub-rule (3) shall be subject to such limits as may be specified on his behalf by the Central Government. All such fines imposed and deductions made shall be recorded in the register maintained in Form II. These registers shall be kept at the work spot and maintained up to date. Where no fine or deduction has been imposed or made on or from any employee in a wage period, a ‘nil’ entry shall be made.
2. Why is it Important?
This register is to be maintained by the employer or any other representative on his behalf this register contains the particulars of the employees, Damages and losses caused with date, deductions, no. of instalments, date of which total amount is realised etc.
