1. What is Form I Rule 24 (1)?
This form is related to the register of fines of an employee working the establishment. As per rule 21 (4). All such fines imposed and deductions made shall be recorded in the register maintained in Forms I. These registers shall be kept at the work spot and maintained up to date. Where no fine or deduction has been imposed or made on or from any employee in a wage period, a ‘nil’ entry shall be made across the body of the relevant register at the end of the wage period, indicating also in precise terms the wage period to which the ‘nil’ entry relates.
2. Why is it Important?
This register is to be maintained by the employer or any other representative on his behalf this register contains the particulars of the employees, the Nature and date of the offence for which the fine is imposed, the rate of wages and the date on which the fine is released.
