1. What is Form E Rule 6(1)?

This form E is related to the notice of disposal of application by the concerned authority under the payment of wages act. Where the concerned authority refuses to entertain the application on grounds such as the insufficient reason for presenting the application, insufficient stamping or the application is barred as per the provisions, it after giving an opportunity of hearing to the parties, can send notice of disposal of the application. The concerned authority can ask the person to appear before him to answer all the material questions relating to the application.

2. Why is it Important?

1. If the applicant shows no sufficient cause for making a direction under section 15, the authority may refuse to entertain an application that is insufficiently stamped or otherwise incomplete with an indication of the defects.

2. This form helps in rejecting applications that are insufficient.

3. If the application is presented again after the defects have been made good, the date of representation shall be deemed to be the date of presentation for the purpose of the proviso sub-section (2) of section 15.
