1. What is Form 4?
Form 4 is used for the register of overtime of workers. This includes information on the nature of the work, the location of the job, employee information, the date of overtime worked, and payment information. When a worker works for more than nine hours on any given day, more than 48 hours in any given week or more than the hours of work notified under Sub-rule (6) of Rule 25, as the case may be, he or she is entitled to double the standard rate of pay for overtime labour.
2. Why is it important?
This register ensures that the proper account has been maintained by the company so that no employees rights can be waived off.
