1. What is Form DIR 6?
Form DIR-6 is the form for providing the intimation of change in particulars of Director to the Central government within 30 days of the change in particulars as per Rule 12(1) of the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014. The changes may be with respect to the following:
A. Name
B. Address (Permanent/ Correspondence address)
C. Date of Birth
D. E-Mail ID or phone number
E. Father’s Name
F. Nationality
G. Occupation Type
H. Educational Qualification
I. Changes in PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card or other proof J. Residential Status
K. Photograph of Director
L. Gender, etc
2. Why is it important?
DIR 6 has to be filed within 30 days of any such change in particulars in order to inform the Central Government that there are changes in information which DIN/DPIN contain.
