1. What is Form DIR 3B?
Form DIR 3B is filed pursuant to rule 10A of Companies ( Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules. This form contains the format in which the Director shall intimate the company about his direction identification number. As per the act, every person who was functioning as a director in one or more companies on or before the 30th June 2007 and who has not yet provided his DIN to such company or companies shall, within one month of the receipt of Director Identification Number from the Central Government, intimate to the company or all companies wherein he is a director as per in Form DIR 3 B
2. Why is it important?
a. It is a statutory and mandatory requirement as provided by the law.
b. It is conclusive proof that a person is eligible to be appointed as the director of the company c. It gives intimation to the public about the companies with which the director is working.
