Dichotomy of Republic Day & Constitution Day of India!
The Constitution was adopted by the Indian Constituent Assembly on 26 November 1949, and came into effect on 26 January 1950 with a democratic government system, completing the country's transition towards becoming an independent republic. 26 January was chosen as the Republic day because it was on this day in 1930 when the Declaration of Indian Independence (Purna Swaraj) was proclaimed by the Indian National Congress as opposed to the Dominion status offered by the British Regime.
Timeline to the Republic Day 一
1927: Bhagat Singh alongside a couple of different pioneers approached with 'finish flexibility' activity. This thought motivated youthful Congress pioneers including Jawaharlal Nehru and Subhash Chandra Bose.
1928: A determination was passed by the Indian National Congress for 'Territory Status' however the British rejected the proposition expressing that India isn't competent for the Dominion Status.
1929: During the Lahore session, the Congress picked Jawaharlal Nehru as the President and requested for Purna Swaraj i.e. finish freedom.
1930: To praise the event, the last Sunday of January (which shockingly fell on 26th ) was settled. Subsequently Independence day was commended with Nehru raising the banner on the banks of Ravi waterway in Lahore.
1947: On August 15th, India achieved independence from British raj, following the Indian independence movement noted for largely peaceful non-violent resistance and civil disobedience led by Mahatma Gandhi.
The independence came through the Indian Independence Act 1947 (10 & 11 Geo 6 c 30), an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that partitioned British India into the two new independent Dominions of the British Commonwealth (later Commonwealth of Nations).
India obtained its independence on 15 August 1947 as a constitutional monarchy with George VI as head of state and Earl Mountbatten as governor-general.
The country, though, did not yet have a permanent constitution; instead its laws were based on the modified colonial Government of India Act 1935.
On 28 August 1947, the Drafting Committee was appointed to draft a permanent constitution, with Dr B R Ambedkar as chairman.
1949: Indian Constitution was framed by November 26. Those pieces of the main Independence Day festivity (January 26, 1930) went to a choice to commemorate the Republic Day on January 26. Subsequently, sat tight for two months for the same. What's more, this is the means by which the Republic Day is celebrated on January 26.
The Constituent Assembly of India adopted the current constitution of India on 26th Nov 1949 signed by the President Dr.Rajendra Prasad. Article 5,6,7,89,60,324,366,367,372,380,388,391,392 and 393 came into force at once instantly.
So, the Constitution of India was adopted on 26 November, 1949. But only some important portions of the constitution came to force on 26 November, 1949 i.e Articles regarding Citizenship, President, Elections came to force on 26 November, 1949. Hence, November 26th is regarded as Constitution Day of India.

While India's Independence Day celebrates its freedom from British Rule, the Republic Day celebrates the coming into force of its constitution.
A draft constitution was prepared by the committee and submitted to the Assembly on 4 November 1947. The Assembly met, in sessions open to the public, for 166 days, spread over a period of two years, 11 months and 18 days before adopting the Constitution. After many deliberations and some modifications, the 308 members of the Assembly signed two hand-written copies of the document (one each in Hindi and English) on 24 January 1950. Two days later, it came into effect throughout the whole nation.
January 26 is praised as the Republic Day of India. It was the day the Constitution of India, arranged by the drafting board of trustees headed by BR Ambedkar, came into force and supplanted the current Government of India Act,1935. The Constitution was framed thinking about the ethnic groups, various religions and provincial clans. In this way, finishing the trip of turning into a sovereign law based republic.
