Driving rashly and carelessly on roads is dangerous and can lead to fatal accidents involving injury or even death of innocents. Hence, safety and some precautions are required on the road in order to avoid such situations. Here are few tips to always remember while driving:

1. The driver must always assess the road conditions beforehand while driving.

8. To warn others of your presence, use headlights to flash which will give them warning signal to be cautious
9. In all the cases where you are involved in any road accident, you must stop your vehicle at once.
10. A driver must take care of the sufficient distance from the moving vehicle in order to avoid collision in case the vehicle slows down or stops.
11. In case while driving if the warning lights on your vehicle instruments panel pops up, park the vehicle safely and get the problem quickly fixed.
12. The driver as well as the pillions must at all the times when the vehicle is on road must wear their seat belts in order to protect themselves from the aftereffects of the collision.
13. The driver must possess a valid driving license and all the other documents such as certificate of insurance, registration certificate and pollution under control certificate etc. that are necessary before starting their journey in order to not attract any legal consequences or fines by the authority.
14. A driver must not take any form of drugs or any other substance that has the capacity to intoxicate or impair any mental conditions before taking any delivery consignment.
15. A driver must not carry an inflammable material in his vehicle which is likely to cause danger to the life and goods kept in the vehicle.
16. A goods driver vehicle is not supposed to carry passengers in his vehicle.
17. The driver must have a third party insurance in order to drive on the public roads.
18. The driver must ensure that the vehicle is not overloaded in order to avoid accidents occurring due to disbalance in the vehicle.
19. The objects such as pamphlets, notifications, stickers, posters etc.should not be placed on the windshield as it obstructs the driver’s vision and hence leading to accidents due to bad vision.
20. A vehicle must not have multi-toned horns as it creates noise pollution and is also an offence under law.
