Covid-19 Death | Procedure for claiming ex-gratia | Tamil Nadu
The Tamil Nadu government has launched an online portal for eligible persons to apply for the ex-gratia payment to the kin of the persons who died due to COVID-19. The government recently announced that it will pay ₹50,000 from the State Disaster Response Fund to the families of the persons who died due to COVID-19.

Death Certificate of the person who died due to COVID (pdf/jpg less than 2MB)

2 Copy or Form 4, 4A of the work document issued by the District Level Committee OR Cause Of Death Certificate (pdf/jpg less than 2MB)

Copy of the Aadhaar card of the deceased (pdf/jpg less than 2MB)

Copy of the Aadhaar card(or govt ID) of the self-certified of Applicant (pdf/jpg less than 2MB)

Copy of the first page of the heir's bank account book OR Cancelled cheque copy of applicant’s account (pdf/jpg less than 2MB)

Legal Heir Certificate (pdf/jpg less than 2MB)

If there is more than one heir entitled to the gratuity, the name and bank account details of the eligible heir Certificates (pdf/jpg less than 2MB)
