1. What is Form CAA 14?
This form is filed pursuant to section 235(1) and rule 26 of Companies act 2013. According to the act, any scheme of transfer of shares has been approved by the ninth tenth shareholders, the company within two months can give notice to dissenting shareholders that it wants to acquire its shares. The notice shall be in Format in form CAA 14. Where a notice is given, the transferee company shall, unless on an application made by the dissenting shareholder to the Tribunal, be entitled to and bound to acquire those shares on the terms on which, under the scheme or contract, the shares of the approving shareholders are to be transferred to the transferee company
2. Why is it important?
A. This form contains the format in which the notice for the shares of the dissenting shareholders can be acquired by the company.
B. It is a statutory requirement.
