Beware of Jobishh.com Scam, Issued in Public Interest Lawyered

With the present downward trend in the corporate sector and the increasing number of lay-offs, everyone is on the lookout for better opportunities. Taking advantage of people’s gullibility, scammers like Jobishh.com are known to be looting them of their hard-earned money on the pretext of getting them well-paid employment opportunities.

The online job provider service was started a little over a year ago. Everything seemed kosher in the beginning, but lately people have been coming up with a lot of complaints of fraud from their end.

They are known to contact people telling them their profile matches the requirement of highly paid jobs abroad. Once they get them interested they start asking for their cv documents and money under various pretexts. Sometimes, it is some security money, sometimes expenditure on setting things up and many more. People have related many instances of losing whopping sums of money, amounts at times in lacks.

Once they get the money, they provide them with some fake numbers which later turn unresponsive and with certain transaction ids just to fool them. Each time, a different person is known to respond to the complainer.

Fed up of this and in desperate need of their money back, people have started resorting to consumer complaint websites to express their grievances. They also threaten to sue them in case they fail to return their money. Most of these complaints are often just met with a reply that the team is on the task of solving their problem assuring them that action will soon be taken. Though it often says resolved on the complaints page, there is little knowledge of that being true.

Some of these are as follows-
Fraud company with fake promises.
Fake call on your profile and fake job demanding money of rs. 4000 to 5000.
Fake Calls Offering Jobs In Dubai.

People are using these forums to warn people against these scam websites. They have done their research and have found that many similar websites have been set up over time. Some even claim that what goes by Jobishh.com earlier was Nownaukri.com and many others. They even report the callers having complete knowledge of their cv information while never having applied with them for placement in the first place. Apparently, many such scam websites are linked and share information amongst themselves to trap innocent people.

The review on this website on scam adviser sites isn’t satisfactory either. It is of mysterious origins, formed but about a little while ago and is leased for just about a year. All these are prerequisites of a red-flag. There have also been blogs on Linkedin, an employment-oriented social media to warn unsuspecting users.

You can read one such blog on Linkedin.

Our warning is be cautious of scammers and do not share sensitive information over call and do not transfer money for any such offers. Be sure of the authenticity of such offers before taking any rash decisions.

Email is a crucial channel in any marketing mix, and never has this been truer than for today’s entrepreneur. Curious what to say.
