1. What is Form AOC4 XBRL?
This form is related to the filing of XBRL document in respect of financial statement and other documents with the registrar pursuant to section 137 of the Companies Act 2016, Rule 12 (2) of the Companies (Accounts) Rules 2014. It is known as Extensible Business Reporting Language which is introduced by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. It is a financial statement to ROC by a certain category of companies, as per MCA a complete Annual Report has to be filled by the company in XBRL format.
2. Why is it Important?
It is important in case a company revised its financial statement, then revised financial statements are required to be filled through this form, certain class of companies are notified under companies XBRL Rule 201, by the central government are required to mandatory file their financial statement in XBRL format.
